The baculovirus system is a powerful eukaryotic expression system with the level of expression as high as 100mg per liter of culture. It produces the recombinant proteins with the antigenical and functional properties similar to the native mammalian proteins.The Baculovirus Laboratory of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of Polish Academy of Sciences provides high-quality service for the scientific community. The cost of the complete service which includes target gene cloning, expression trials and amplification of the recombinant virus necessary for long-term expression work, amounts to 13 600 zl. For proteins cloned with histidine tag, the additional service includes protein purification (position no 8).
